The Fall Savers Monitor is a portable battery powered bed and chair alarm designed for use with either a bed or chair seat sensor pad. The monitor sounds an alarm when the patient's weight moves off the bed or chair seat sensor pad.
Can also be used with a durable floor sensor pad to sound an alarm when the patient steps onto the floor sensor pad.
The system is effective on patients weighing 28kg or more.
With a high and low volume switch, the alarm can be adjusted to suit the current environment.
To reduce false alarms, the monitor has an adjustable delay switch to assist the carer and patient. There is also a by-pass feature built-in, which allows the patient to be escorted out of a bed without sounding the alarm.
