When linked with the Alert-iT monitor this unit detects falls without the person needing to press any button.
Designed for use in conjunction with the Alert-it Pager (sold separately) the Badge-it is a personal alarm worn by the client or cared for person which alerts care staff automatically should the wearer collapse, fall or press the panic call button.
Attaches to belt or clothing or can be placed in a pocket.
Badge-it detects any change in gravity and firstly emits a warning beep to the person wearing it for 15 seconds (in case they are just lying down). If user does not respond/get back up, Badge-it sends an alarm to the Alert-it Pager to notify the carer that there is a problem.
Can also be held in the hand when seated - if the user falls or collapses, they drop/release grip on the Badge-it which will set off the alarm. Badge-it and Alert-it Pager can be easily calibrated to define a safe area.
If the wearer wanders out of this area, the Carer is alerted.
