Choosing a recliner chair isn't always a straightforward task. There are many things that can affect the choices we have when looking for the perfect rise & recliner chair. Here are some very important points to consider.
Checking it will fit
Before going ahead and purchasing a recliner chair it is important to make sure it fits in the room you're going to be sitting in. Take a look at the chair specification to ensure that it is going to fit. You will need to leave a gap between the wall and the recliner chair so that the chair doesn't touch the wall when in a reclined position.
Choosing a motor
The recliner chair range at Eden Mobility is available in 3 different motor types:
- Single Motor
- Dual Motor
- Triple-Action Motor
Choosing a fabric
From traditional upholstery to luxurious leathers, everybody has their own preferences. Our chairs have been designed to suit the majority of furniture and décor. If you are looking for a recliner chair for medical reasons, a pressure-relieving medical grade foam chair may be the best choice. The best way to decide for yourself is to visit a store near you and try them out for yourself.
Choosing a style of back
There are many styles available to suit individual comfort requirements including button and waterfall backs. The waterfall back style does usually offer the best support throughout our range of recliner chairs.
Will the chair be in the vicinity of pets and/or children?
This is a very important point to consider when purchasing a rise & recline chair. If you will have pets and/or children at your home, we recommend that you choose a chair that has an "anti-entrapment" system. This will prevent pets and/or children from getting stuck in the mechanical parts of the chair whilst it is operating.
