Last October the staff of Eden's Leeds store were asked by one of their regular customers, Mrs Jennifer Clare, if they would be able to help raise money in aid of the British Heart Foundation. Jennifer wanted to hold a fundraising day in honour of family members that she had lost - her husband, daughter and recently her grandson who was only 16 years old due to heart failure.
When Eden's Directors Karl Howe and David Hughes heard Jennifer's story they were keen to help, donating a best-selling shopping trolley as a raffle prize. Michelle (Store Manager) and Katie did a fantastic job of organising the event, gathering raffle prizes from other stores in the Crossgates Shopping Centre and providing cakes, sandwiches and drinks. In total, the event raised £150.05 for the British Heart Foundation. Jennifer said she was "Over the moon" with the result and would like to thank everyone at Eden for their help. Well done to Michelle and Katie!
