The staff of Eden's Scunthorpe store recently had the pleasure of a visit from Natasha Adkinson, a Para Dressage rider, who has represented Great Britain internationally for the last seven years.
Natasha is currently competing her 7-year-old, black Hanoverian mare, Sweet Caledonia (Cally). They are the current British National Champions after winning the KBIS National Dressage Championships at Stoneleigh in 2015, and they also won the British Dressage Grade 1b Winter Championships 2016.
Natasha was born with Spina Bifida, which limits the use of her neck and back, as well as conditions that affect various parts of the body, resulting in her joints frequently dislocating.
Natasha had visited Eden in the hope of finding a suitable Mobility Scooter to use while she is away on international competitions, to help her travel between the hotel and arena, which is especially important with visits to Belgium and the Paralympics in Rio this summer.
Natasha chose the Eden Bootmaster Elite scooter and after our store manager, Anthony Lee, contacted Eden's owners, Karl Howe & David Huges, was able to supply the scooter to Natasha.
We would like to wish Natasha, Cally, and all her team the best for their future competitions and to thank you for choosing a scooter from Eden, we hope it serves you well!
