The Holidays come to Eden Lincoln

Eden Mobility are always a big draw when they visit Lincoln City Centre, but recently they attracted a huge crowd when a special guest joined them.

Barrie Hall, a retired engineer, joined Jim Shaw, Lincoln Store Manager and Garry Hopkinson in the city centre with his latest creation - a scaled down version of the famous Coca-Cola Christmas truck. The spectacle attracted interest from people young and old and was even featured on BBC News 'Look North'.

Barrie has been a loyal customer of Eden's for many years and built his Coca-Cola truck to help raise money for Leukaemia charities, a cause that is very close to his heart. So far this year Barrie has raised over £1,000 for charity out and about in his lorry, and should raise much more judging by the huge interest he has received.

Barrie told Jim that he is currently working on another project but the plans for this are being kept top secret. Keep your eye out for future issues of Eden News for updates on Barrie and his engineering marvels!
