Eden Mobility was started in February 1998 by long term business partners of over 20 years, David Hughes and Karl Howe.
They started Eden Mobility concentrating heavily on the service of scooters, powerchairs and stairlifts and offered an excellent fast, efficient aftercare service.
Their customers depended entirely on their equipment bought from Eden Mobility, so David and Karl knew it was vital that they got this side of the business right from the start.
Word soon spread about Eden Mobility's services, so much so the two partners opened their first showroom in Bentley, Doncaster. Soon followed by Rotherham, Hull and Barnsley then others followed in Bridlington, Lincoln, York, Scunthorpe, Sheffield, Grimsby, Birmingham, Mansfield, Wakefield and Rotherham Town Centre.
In October 2011 we opened 3 new stores, Chesterfield, Darlington up north and down south in Portsmouth.
For 2012 more stores are to be opened in Derby, Leeds, Southampton, Brighton, Eastbourne, Durham and Middlesbrough.
David believes it is important to offer a top class all round service to all their customers, and have highly trained staff who listen carefully to what their customers require and give them honest opinions and good advice.
Eden Mobility is now one of the largest mobility companies in the country employing over 100 staff with a turnover in excess of £6 million and a customer base of 90,000 plus.
Eden Mobility now have their own newsletter "Eden News" sent out every quarter, and their very own catalogue for 2011.
David and Karl know their success is down to one main belief......
